Pasta
First put pasta on to boil. Pasta can be any pasta of choice, but recommended is smaller bites over spaghetti or fettuccini. Most commonly used are pastas that can sustain thick cheeses like cavatappi, bow tie pasta or large macaroni shells. Once pasta is done, drain and set to the side.
Bake Cheese & Tomatoes
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Add 2 pints of tomatoes into an oven safe dish.
Place 1 block of Feta cheese in center of tomatoes. Drizzle olive oil around dish, across tomatoes and feta. Season with salt and pepper.
Optionally add a portion of fresh basil at this step. Please note that fresh basil added to oven will crumble down and brown, but does provide a nice flavor when cooked together.
Bake tomatoes and feta cheese for 30 minutes. Carefully remove from oven.
Add in chopped garlic cloves, fresh basil leaves.
Combine COOKED pasta (it helps if you do half at at time) into tomato casserole dish and stir to smother pasta in creamy feta cheese and tomatoes.
Serve with fresh black pepper.
