Cook pasta of choice according to package directions. Before draining, reserve 1 cup water.
In a skillet, add one stick of butter and minced garlic. Please note if you want extra garlic, it is fine to add more.
Cook butter mixture over medium heat, frequently stirring until butter is melted.
Add reserved pasta water and let the mixture bubble and boil.
Add cooked pasta noodles directly to garlic butter and sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese. The amount you use is up to you.
Add garlic powder and dry chicken bouillon and mix noodles well.
Serve butter noodles topped with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately while warm. See notes for other topping suggestions.
Notes
We made these with thin spaghetti noodles, but linguine or fettuccini is my favorite way to enjoy simple battered pasta. Toppings and seasonings can be altered easily. Try chopped basil, black pepper, everything bagel spice, or red pepper chili flakes. We love making this dish and mixing in slightly blacked and steamed broccoli before serving. Yum!Add cooked chicken for a complete dinner.
