Artichoke spinach dip freshly made and piled high on bagels is this week's inspirational TikTok recipe hack. Delicious way to use leftover spinach dip as well.
1cupbaby spinach leavespacked into cup and then chopped
2tspDijon Mustard
½cupsour cream
½cupreal Mayonnaise
½cupshredded mozzarella cheese
½cupshredded Parmesan cheese(divided by 1/4th)
6bagelscut in half
Red Pepper Flakesto taste - Optional
Instructions
Add drained and chopped artichoke hearts, cut fresh spinach leaves, sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, shredded mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese to a mixing bowl and mix well.
Slice bagels in half and spread mixture on each bagel half.
Place bagels cut side up on a baking sheet and top with remaining shredded Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
Broil spinach dip bagels on LOW for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway between cooking. Keep in mind that ovens vary and bagels should not be too close to the broiler to prevent burning.

If you do not like the spice of crushed red pepper, try sliced green onions, cooked and crumbled bacon, or other fresh herb choices like Everything Bagel Seasoning. Other common ingredients that can flavor spinach artichoke dip are garlic clove (fresh garlic works great), chopped water chestnuts, kosher salt, black pepper, and even chopped bell peppers. Baking Tip: If making this dip solely as an appetizer to serve (and not on bagels), add all ingredients to a 9″ pie plate or baking dish and bake uncovered for 15 minutes at 350. In our particular recipe, it’s not necessary to pre-cook spinach dip ingredients.Mixing the ingredients and adding them right to the bagel does the work. However, you CAN cook the spinach dip first (recipe below) if preferred.
If you have a leftover dip from a party, add right to bagels, top with Parmesan, and crisp in a toaster oven or broiler till cooked through and the top is golden brown.
